  Straiton Stores makes an excellent cyclist's pit stop. Refill your water bottles, grab a sandwich or some fruit. Maybe a chocolate bar and a bottle of milk. Enjoy the open air dining facilities, which are set back from the quiet road through the village, and conveniently situated across the road from the public toilets. We've stayed in Dumfries and Galloway for the last three years now and on each visit I have done a bike ride which has included a pit stop here. If Straiton Stores were ever to close I would be devastated.
